The Fran for Food (Food Drive) is our annual fundraiser to help feed hungry children! With the support of the Industrious community, we aspire to donate hundreds of pounds  of food to help our partners restock their pantries and keep feeding children all year long!

Industrious is proud to be partnered with the Nourishing Network Foundation for Edmonds School District.

The Nourishing Network was created in partnership with and at the request of the Edmonds School District because hungry children struggle to learn. More than 650 ESD students experience homelessness during the school year, and on average 33 percent of families qualify for free and reduced federal lunch programs.

Last year, the Foundation and its funding partners invested almost $617,000 in food and coordinated assistance programs for students as well as vulnerable families.

Quick Facts:

• Weekend Meal Kits: more than 9,483 weekend meals were provided between September and Jun, with more than 121,300 food items distributed.
• Summer Meal Program: staff and volunteers served more than 5,758 free lunches for children 1-18 at four locations.
• Pop-Up Pantries: each month, 205 vulnerable families in need of assistance receive food and household goods at seven schools across the district.
• Holiday Meals: 326 families received complete holiday meals before the winter break.

This year we’re accepting monetary donations only. This is to help make the process quick and easy for donors, and allows our partner organization to maximize their resources and put the money to use in the most effective way.

Donations start at a minimum of $5 and there’s no maximum to what you can give! Any amount can help make a difference in someone’s life.
