Duties
· Welcome members, guests, and prospective clients with a positive attitude and a smile – Coaches never have a bad day 🙂
· Assist with membership questions, account updates, and general inquiries.
· Conduct professional and engaging studio tours.
· Lead group training sessions with a focus on safety and proper technique.
· Create a fun, energetic, and motivating member experience.
· Manage member profiles, memberships, and class reservations using studio software.
· Complete InBody 570 certification and assist members with body composition assessments.
· Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
· Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks.
· Promote and sell memberships, class packages, retail products, and studio services.
· Follow up with prospective members and trial participants as directed.
· Build strong relationships that support member retention and referrals.
· Attend team meetings, training sessions, and event planning meetings.
· Collaborate with coaches and staff to ensure a seamless member experience.
· Support studio events, challenges, and community initiatives.
· Represent the Industrious brand, culture, and values at all times.
Required Skills & Certifications
Required Certifications
- CPR & AED Certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
Preferred Certifications
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
- ACE Certified Personal Trainer
- ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist or Personal Trainer
- NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or CPT
- CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
- Group Fitness Instructor Certification
Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy fitness environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and dependable
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes

- Passion for health, fitness, and personal development
- Team-oriented with a strong desire to contribute to a positive studio culture
- Coaches are encouraged to participate regularly in classes to stay connected to the Industrious training methodology and member experience
Education and Experience
- · High school diploma or equivalent required
- · 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
- · 2+ years of fitness experience
- · Previous coaching, personal training, or group fitness experience is a plus
- · Sales experience is a plus, but a passion for helping people is a must Benefits

Schedule & Availability
Position Type

Availability Needed
- Early mornings
- Mid-days
- Evenings
- Occasional weekends
Schedule Expectations
- Availability for 1–5 shifts per week
- Approximately 4–20 hours per week
- Must be available for 1–2 weekend shifts per month
- Final schedule will be determined based on studio needs and coach availability
- Coaches play an active role in member engagement, referrals, trial conversions, and community-building initiatives
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with members of all fitness levels
Compensation
Part-Time Coach
$20–$32 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, certifications, coaching performance, and additional responsibilities.
